As a retired "old school" mechanic, I find it interesting that nobody recommended rebuilding the calipers!
Is it really all THAT difficult to remove the pistons, clean them and the caliper body, replace the seals and boots, lubricate with fresh brake fluid, and reassemble? Assuming, of course, that nothing is corroded to the point of being unusable.
Or, is it just part of the "Throw it way and buy a new one" mentality? Never repair if you can replace.
