Is it really all THAT difficult to remove the pistons, clean them and the caliper body, replace the seals and boots, lubricate with fresh brake fluid, and reassemble? Assuming, of course, that nothing is corroded to the point of being unusable.
Or, is it just part of the "Throw it way and buy a new one" mentality? Never repair if you can replace.

I said that same thing at the end of my post.Only If u can do it yourself.But paying a shop rate of even 65$ never mind 100$ plus cost of caliper kits I have found its actually cheaper to buy rebuilt ones
