The heck with the laws and again, my only question ever was as to whether or not my rig would stop any quicker with a supplemental braking system and if the answer is yes, no matter how little the difference might be, then one is needed. As for my pick, the READYBRAKE beats all hands down for simplicity and cost effectiveness and is easily installed by most do it yourself types.
