I just bought a 2004 Jeep Liberty. Now I need to know what is a good breaking system? I have a 2005 Bounder 35E, workhorse. Thanks Tom
You aren't saying as to whether or not you have purchased the tow bars, as yet, so with not having anything, I'd choose the NSA READYBRUTE/ELITE that comes with everything you need, except for the base plate (check out Demco) and although the READYSTOP breakaway feature is an inexpensive option.
If you already have a set of tow bars, then just purchase the READYBRAKE as it will adapt to it. Also consider the said READYSTOP. With the ELITE, NSA will supply the adapters for whichever base plate you choose. For your Jeep's wiring and before doing anything else, check with COOLTECH to see if they have a non-invasive plug and play wiring harness, like they do for the JK Wrangler. This will prevent you from having to cut and splice in diodes or drilling holes in your existing tail lights for extra bulb installation.
If a plug in and play harness isn't available anywhere, get back and I'll tell you about another non-invasive procedure for hard wiring the lighting.
