Owning an RV is the BEST stupid money I have ever spent, 4 times so far. I believe you have to fully understand that things can and will break and maintenance, repairs and tires must be kept up. Owning an RV is always expensive but the joy of travels and adventure has always been worth it to us. Each potential RV owner needs to be able to handle those expenses, both planned and otherwise. If he is going to always worry, likely not a wise choice.
