When you have an attitude like that....inflexible....your stuff usually won't sell very good.
I think he has a right to have an inspection....at his expense.
Best if he picks a mechanic/shop in your area.
Or you could plan a day trip to his location.
Assuming that you have a companion that could drive a "catch vehicle" there too.
A reasonably good inspection can be done in 4 hours or so.
If you think that might result in an immediate sale, have the payment terms locked down too......like you being present at the bank when the cashiers check is cut.
