Buying a Canadian regsitered motorhome in the USA

Here is a complicated issue. I am looking at buying a MH in the USA. The origin owner has died. He kept it registered in Canada. I would like to either bring it back to Canada or I could also keep it...

Diplomatdon: You have it 100% correct. Pianotuna: I have used the temporary plate when importing an American MH. Truckers use them all the time when buying at an auction and just want to get the unit home. It is permitted ( pun intended) !
