Buying a Class A without slides??

My wife and I have looked at numerous coaches as possible replacements for our aging no slides Coachmen. One of the areas we evaluated carefully was whether slides added any significant value for our needs. After much thought, we determined that the only real gain for us would be potentially being able to walk around our dog when she stretches out on the floor rather than stepping over her. Bottom line, slides will not be a factor in deciding whether a coach fits our needs. In fact, given the potential maintenance issues and in some cases the loss of storage space or access with the slides in, may even be a negative item.
