OP, I always advise to buy more RV than you think you need...ONE TIME. Buying a non slide RV will probably void the one time suggestion. Slides give very little trouble, can be put in if it's that cold, with a topper they come in dry, with a good layout they do not have to be put out....... I wonder what the price was for that unit six months ago and how much they came down to sell it at the end of the camping season??? Since you live in Canada I understand your concern about the cold but all I need to know about these units is the thickness of the storage door and the large unheated area under the bed. How much insulation is there in the floor, walls, roof? This does not look like a unit made for four season use.
