Buying a Class A without slides??

I wouldn't worry about trade in value as you aren't buying new. You are buying used so whomever you are buying it from is the one getting screwed on the resale value. When I first started looking for a motorhome I didn't want slides for all the reasons people say here. Too much trouble, too many moving parts, more things to leak, etc. But the wife wanted them so the first motorhome had one. That motorhome only lasted two years before we traded it in and got a DP with three slides. To me it makes all the difference in the world, but some people sleep in a pup tent too and are perfectly happy.
