Buying a Class A without slides??

Hi, I am looking at a 2011 Hurricane 30Q, no slides but very low milleage and below 40,000 dollars in excellent condition.

I would like your opinion on a class A without slides. I currently have a Bigfoot Truck Camper, so just a place to walk and strech my leg, or walk around the bed in a class A is a great upgrade for me.

If I do not like it, would it be easy to sell back if price is right?
  • We also have a wide body coach, no slides but perfectly comfortable for the two of us.
  • And we are the opposite. Prefer a 102" wide with no slides.

Slides do offer floor space, but take up storage space.

So, your choice-- no "one answer fits all".
  • If slides, we started with a Bounder with two slides to the Camelot with four slides. The extra room is terrific.
  • If you're referring to slideouts, I would pass. We have a 31' Bounder with no slideouts. We bought it several years ago as a starter, see if we would like traveling in a MH. It's a nice MH but without slides it's just too small, the living room/dining area especially. That's where you spend your time inside when not sleeping.
