There is usually some extra room in just about any B van for moving items you cannot move in a car, even an SUV.
We do the same. Great for bringing crown molding home from Loew's. Or the annual Christmas tree. Leaves you with that nice piney smell without having to hang a little cardboard thingy on your rear-view mirror.
