An exception to the un/re-branding thing is the Winnebago brand. They badge their rentals with the Chalet name rather than the model name. So ours still says Chalet, as do others that we've seen out there that are clearly personally owned now. Not a big deal to us, and how many people know that a Winnebago Chalet is a rental, or for that matter how much do we care if they do?

The other factor is ghosting. So on ours the rental dealer had lettering for their web address across the back, easily read at an angle because of ghosting of the fiberglass. Try as I might to clean it off with various cleaners that claim to remove ghosting, it didn't get much better. So we just started putting our travel stickers over that area :)
