I hope someone does post with a tip, but from what I have seen trying to add a couple 12v outlets and install a backup camera if the wire you need is not right there or very close by it is near imposable to get wiring through the walls or ceiling they are foam filled. If you need to get from one end of a cabinet to the other the base is hollow. I drilled a small hole where I had access to 12v and another were I wanted the power outlet. Then I tied a small steel nut to fishing line, lowered it in the hole and used a strong magnet from underneath to pull the nut and fishing line through the base and out the other hole. Then tied wire to line and pulled the wiring through.
