I've read the whole thread but not in the last couple weeks. I'm still considering a prior rental. I've ruled out Cruise America. El Monte sounds like a great option and I saw them all the time when I lived in CA. Of course I'm now on the East Coast for at least 3 more years so it's not a great option, although it's a back up plan. I'm probably a year out on a purchase.
Anyone out there recommend another smaller rental company on East Coast?
I really like that El Monte offers a warranty, however limited it might be. For those who bought El Monte, how many miles did their rigs have? They don't list that like Cruise America does.
