I dont think anyone is saying that buying a used RV is a bad idea but buying a used RV with your eyes closed BECAUSE its an EX rental is foolish. I dont care if the last 1000 units were perfect, I want to insure that 1001 is as close to perfect as the previous ones. Just because the seller says I dont need the service records does not mean I dont need the service records.
When you buy a used boat you pay big buck for a survey but every surveyor will tell you nothing beats a good complete set of service records.
Oh and if 6 shower heads have been replaced I want to know what is wrong with the design that causes them to be so fragile before I have to buy 6 more.
