Things I would like to know which might increase the perceived value of a high mileage used coach;
1). has the engine, transmission, radiator, or generator has been replaced?
2). what is the service schedule for the transmission, generator and cooling system?
I could care less about the minutia because I would look it over anyway.
Rental companies do not want their customers to have problems and they don't want the lost revenue associated with tow bills and down time, they want to grow their business. The way to do that is to provide a reliable product and the foundation to that is routine qualified service.
I know I would prefer a 5 year unit with 100k miles to a 10 year old unit with 50k miles if just to gain the 5 speed automatic, vastly improved new front end design and 50% less UV damage.
Remember, the month before you bought it was good enough to rent to someone else. Plus everyone so far that I have seen post here that ACTUALLY bought a rental has been pleased their decision.
IMHO of course
