As an engineer and also a machinery surveyor in the past, I have been used to people/companies having to show records.What is accepted, is proof of receipts for parts and digital photos as proof of work done. So for those like me that do their own maintenance i suggest that it is easy to keep a record of maintenance for a future sale. Keep receipts of parts purchased and take a photo with the digital camera we all have these days. Anyone can tick a form to say work is done! My job in the past has been to prove it has been done.
