Motoviking,
We have had our CA 24 footer class C for almost a year now. Love it! I also received shockingly good customer service from CA and continue to do so as I have brought it back free of charge a few times to correct a few minor issues. No questions asked. They fix it and I leave smiling. I honestly, as I have stated in this thread before, expected a bad experience and didn't get it.
MAKE SURE YOU ASK THEM TO FIX EVERY LITTLE TINY THING WRONG WITH THE RV. They will. I am talking about things AFTER the refurb takes place. I had a list of over 25 things I wanted addressed after I spent 4 plus hours going over the RV. I estimate that all of the things they fixed would have cost me easliy close to 5k if I had to have someone else do it. They fixed everything from a ripped screen to a wheel alignment with a sway bar to changing the mattresses again to putting on new tires. A private seller would never do that. They don't negotiate too much on the price but they will put time and money into the unit before you buy it.
The only negative with a CA unit is the high miles BUT the positive is an engine chock full of new and recently replaced parts due to a recent refurbishing AND a rigorous inspection process every time a unit is rented. They can't rent broken units that don't run.
Good luck with your purchase!
