jetmechtm,it is good to hear that El Monte stood behind their warranty,as it has on Two other occasions
It is also nice to know that you have had good luck and many comfortable miles with your purchase, as the OP I also have a Ex Rental from El Monte RV on a Chevy chassis and couldn't be happier.
I have had no problems at all with mine and I am going on 4 years and 12000 trouble free miles and many many nights of camping and all the sights I have seen.
From reading all these posts it seems that El Monte has stood behind their warranty and provided good service when needed.
There are other posts that applaud Cruise America for their service after the sale too.
All in all great endorsements for buying an Ex Rental.
Unlike all the threads here that bemoan all the problems people have had buying new and spending big bucks. Then the problems they have getting them fixed under warranty or by the MFG. I have not seen that here.
It seems to me at least, from all the posts that are here, we have all made a very good decision to Buy an Ex Rental.
Thanks to everyone that has contributed to this thread with many concise posts on their research and how they all came to the same conclusion and shared with the others.
Also to the others that have come back and reported on their many miles of trouble free enjoyment they have had, that seems to be the trend for all of us Ex Rental owners, please keep it up.
Time to head out on my next adventure....
