Well I may soon be a new member to this group. I put a (refundable) deposit on a 2018 Adventurer 19RD today. Will go to Country RV in Canada in a few weeks to close the deal if all looks good. So far, they have been very good to deal with. I’ve been looking for a class c under 20’ for a long time and this may be the one!
They tell me we will close the deal at the border so I can pay sales tax when I get home and register and avoid the Canadian sales tax, which sounds good, no use paying it twice.
I don’t believe they issue any kind of temporary tag so I will be tagless until I get home. My understanding is there is some grace period time that it is ok to be tagless as long as I have bill of sale.
any words of experience from ya’all on this endeavor would be greatly appreciated!
