I can sympathize with you on the problem of not having enough leg room,at 6'6" I have the same problem,luckily my RV is built on a
Chevy Chassis it has a lot more room up front.
One thing that Fleetwood did on theirs is that they made a cutout in the dinette seat back so the drivers seat could be relined more. This doesn't affect the seating any way because the cushion is quite stiff and leans against the seat back.
