Good for you! That "flipper" or whatever he is, seems to have bought it with his eyes open. You didn't hold anything back, and you can now concentrate on your new rig.
All you need is one buyer. I went through a few till my "one" showed up to buy the old Class C. Same for a couple cars. Our daughter sold a very tired hybrid trailer recently on an army base "lemon lot" which is where I sold the Class C and one of the cars. Then daughter's Explorer engine shelled out a timing chain and they sold it in a day on Craig's List as a basket case.
NOTE: Ford's 4.0 SOHC V6 common in truck-based Explorers, SportTracs, Rangers... One Timing Chain "Cassette" is on the REAR of the engine and requires removing flywheel/flex plate to service. Makes a difficult job impractical from a labor standpoint if you're paying for it. Or a reman engine. Price about twice the NADA for the truck...
