Cab over bunk ladder?

Hello. Question for the group. Did your Class C come with a ladder for the bunk over the cab? Ours did not, but I was at the dealer for some warranty work and noticed the the new (2016) just like our 2015 does now have the ladder. Do you use the ladder or scramble up the seats or close by furniture?

Thanks, great source of information here.
  • A bunk ladder is sometimes considered an option and not included as standard equipment.
  • My old Coachmen Class C came with a really nice (but very heavy and large) homemade wooden ladder. I ditched that, and instead carry one of those Cosco step ladders (the two step size). It's less bulky and lighter than the ladder, and comes in handy at unexpected times. It's just tall enough for me to use to get up and down from the bed.
  • Call the manufacturer and ask if the model you have comes with a ladder then Ask the dealer where the ladder went
  • Our 2016 Class C did come with a ladder for the bunk.
  • Our class C did not come with a bunk ladder. I purchased an aluminum bunk ladder from Amazon if I remember correctly. Work great. Much safer for the grand kids especially when getting down from the bunk.
