donn2346 is partly correct. if you buy out of state, you need to take the MH, TT, or 5th wheel, what ever it is, you need to take it to the DMV with you at the time you get your license for that vehicle. they need to look it over and look at the vin number among other things to make sure it is what you are suppose to have before they will let you license it. I found out the hard way on that one when we bought our TT from the state of Washington. had to make two trips to the DMV and wait in line for an hour twice to get the plates for it. It was over 100* out side and she asked me if I was going to come with her out side and I told her knock your self out, I didn't know what to look for.
