Gas/Diesel in No. Calif / Oregon Coast US-101

Can't help for you entire route, but in Bandon and North Bend, you'll find "76" stations with pumps parallel to highway 101; both have gas and diesel.

I fill at the Fred Meyer station in Florence and I am 42 ft plus a Ford explorer toad. Located on the West side of 101 in Florence.

In Florence Oregon you'll have a Fred Meyer that has Diesel, and pretty good access. It's located on the north side of town. Other stores in Warrenton (South of Astoria) and in Tillamook & Coos Bay, I haven't been to Coos Bay but the other two are are accessible. The store in Newport does not have fuel.

I did that very route in April in a 34' Monaco Knight (diesel) and a Suburban toad. The Safeway in Willits is very easy to get into and out of. There are many gas stations on the right side of the road that will fill your bill. The 76 station in Reedsport, Ore., just south of the junction with Hwy 38 is also very easy to pull in and out. The road from Lincoln City to Astoria is curvy and narrow and there was some construction in April.

Lots of choices along the way. Check with GasBuddy.com for locations and prices. Remember in OR they pump it for you.

Fred Meyer would be the answer - we just traveled on 101 from Washington to Monterey California

I usually fill at the Safeway in Willits. Next stop for gas for me is always the Fred Meyers in Brookings, Or. That is about 260 miles. Fred Meyers is a Kroger company and the Kroger gas rewards program works at any the Fred Meyers. I usually stop at Winchester Bay for a few days so I gas up in Reedsport. Florence is usually a little cheaper but I usually head inland at Reedsport. I stop at Florence southbound on the coast route.

Don't even think twice about having issues on that route. We've done it many times at 62' including a toad. There will be many choices, just use Gas Buddy to find the best price. Fred Meyers are probably the most reasonable. Run into their store (great stores) take about five minutes and sign up for their free store card (like Ralphs or Vons) and get an additional discount on fuel.
