Can a 40 foot Motorhome travel on Hwy. 299 from Arcadia to Redding, CA.

- I'm assuming you meant ARCATA not Arcadia...IMHO, you can do it but like Hwy 1 along the coast, you won't enjoy the trip...unless it's a necessity I'd try a different route. Lots of twists and turns and grades....Dennis
- No problem, just take it easy on the downgrades. I drive this route almost every day. JH
- You're good to go. Beautiful drive.
- Not a problem at all. Steep grade going up to Weaverville, but nothing you
will not be able to handle.
There should be some salmon in the Trinity right now.
