Hey Steve, it was actually a great day. My son and his girlfriend are home from college this week so they came with us. Had a great lunch in Port Jeff and walked the town. We haven't done that since we sold our boat 10 years ago.

Mike,I was in Tucson about a week ago and Lazydays have CC and former Beaudry persons have started Premier RV not far from the old site and have about 7 or 8 CC.

I drove 3000 miles to buy a coach (from the pics Dallas/Fort Worth area) and it was a great disappointment.Then we looked up a CC at a close by dealer and it was sold. Luckily it was in the same direction as Motorhomes of Texas. Whats a few more miles?

About the slides; we looked at many and narrowed down to 4 models, 3 40 foot and one 42 foot. Oddly enough only one out of the four had 2 slides. We ended up with one slide and 42 feet.

I had a class C with no slide then a fifth wheel with a slide then back to no slide.
We spend most of our time outside and really only sleep in the rv. I deffenetly want a living room slide and possible bedroom one also. The one thing I personally don't want is a slide on my patio. Finally going to look at the 99 CC Allure in LI NY at noon tomorrow. Going to put the jeep on the ferry in Bridgeport and sail across the sound to Port Jefferson then a 10 min. Ride to his house. Spending today unloading my rv of over 10 years of stuff so the new owners can pick it up Monday am. Were in the heck did all of this stuff come from.

Don't rule out too many slides. As long as you have access throughout the coach with them in, it's a great feature when you are parked. We currently have four and will never go back.

X2 with Craig's list. Listed it late Monday night got a email on Wednesday came and looked Thursday purchased it on Friday. I hear ya about the slides. I personally don't want 3,4 or 5 slides. I would settle for the one living room slide and if I find one with a living and bedroom I would take that.
