Ya know - all this time I was under the impression, because the previous owner told me, that the heater switch on the control panel was for the tank heaters (waste and fresh). I studied my manual again last night and the only thing I could find that made mention of that switch said it was to run the hot water heater on propane. I've never used that switch though and the switches under the sink have run the water heater with either electric or gas. Curious. Is it a redundant switch for gas? When the weather gets better here I'm going to trace the wires to see where it goes and what it controls.
