Hi Judson - yes the hot water heater is a hybrid. Selection switches are under the kitchen sink on the left side. Lightning bolt for electric operation, flame for gas. I have to say- even using only electric at campgrounds - the water in that tank stays hot for at least 6 hours. (During summer months anyway) but you can switch to gas if you need hot water on the fly. We're still unsure about the tank heaters at this point. My previous owner told me the heater switch on the control panel was for tank heaters and that's what I believed, until last night. I've never used it. After reading the om I now believe it's just a redundant switch for hot water gas valve usage. Tracing wiring in the spring will help me id it then. Welcome aboard!
