Calling all Road Warrior owners - RWS, RWT, RWM

The in-dash stereo that includes the screen for the backup camera is almost unusable. it gets extremely hot during operation, and most of the time, none of the buttons work on it any longer.
Also, it rarely gets any stations on it, unless I am right in town even with a signal booster and replacing the antenna.
Im thinking of sending it to manufacturer or replaceing it. Has anyone else had this trouble with the stereo?
Any recommendations on replace or repair?
