campground in connecticut

I'm here right now through Sunday on beach street with 50amp power. 35.00 a night is correct. It is the closest you are going to get to the beach it is a 30 second walk. Aces High is like a 1/2 hour ride and Strawberry Park even farther. The Mystic KOA may be better and closer with full hook ups. Stayed there once was nice and a lot of activities for the kids. Have fun with whatever you choose

Mike, someone just told us that those sites on beach street at Hammonasset are $35.00 a night , just for elect...is this true?

Try looking up locations on rvparkreviews.com. Excellant site for campgrounds around the country, every state and listed by city and town and distances from desired town visiting.

The place is full of leaf peepers in the fall and space is limited at the few parks available.

We are at Aces High East Lyme, twice rated best small campground. 3 miles to ocean and newly opened boardwalk. There are nearly all pull throughs golf down the street. Nascar 1/3 mile open wheel modified track 5 miles away. Casinos mins. away, Fishing in park or ocean. Pool and pond swimming in park. Strawberry Park is miles from the Ocean.
