They are not happy about dumping in the toilet. I try to use the sewer pipes in mine, or unused campsites or the sewer (I often get the cheaper tent sites), but I dump the night before I am leaving so miss the morning rush hour. If nothing else, I go late at night to dump in the restroom toilet.
Yes, water is 8 lbs per gallon so I try to empty it more frequently or I have to drive it up to the dump station. I dont bother filling the flushing mechanism of the porta-potty with water, I keep a 1 gallon container next to the pot and pour a little in.
