Camping on the Beach at Pismo?

I wouldn't do it in my motorhome, but I've seen lots of others do it. Just remember you have to cross a creek in the sand to get to the camping area. I was there a few months ago and the creek was completely dry. Couldn't even see where it was. But I've also been there in the summer when the creek was flowing. I've been there in the fall months too when I almost couldn't get through the creek in my Jeep Wrangler.

Mostly what you see out there are trailers and 5th wheels being towed by 4x4 trucks, but motorhomes get out there too.
