Camping World

FYI, For you RVers that don't get out West here very often Camping World is opening a new store on I-5 in Coberg, Oregon. Opening date on the sign when I drove by the other day said early 2014. It's on the Westside of I-5 south of where they sell those Marathon and Prevost Coaches! Take Care, Rooster

  • Sorry to say, my experience with CW is NOT good. They added an awning brace to my old coach and it tore out of the sidewall.
When I was looking for a braking system for my Hummer they wanted $999, after my so called discount. I called Roadmaster and was told the retail price of my specific braking system was $883.85. When I explained this to the sales clerk, she just walked away. I purchased the brake system elsewhere. I have never understood why I must belong to CW to receive a discount on a marked up price. I don't shop at CW very often.

Junction City CW closed a long while ago as reported. Guarantee reopened in that location with a much smaller store (utilizing a small portion of the available space). The Coburg CW is now open.
    Thanks

  • Guaranty RV has taken over the former CW store and is making it a "travel center". Merchandise like CW, service facility open 7 days a week, convenience store, showers, laundromat, dog wash, propane filling station. Best of all Guaranty's RV techs are some of the best in the business, not like the clowns at many CW service facilities.

Sorry but our experience at Guaranty with their tech's were poor. Four trips to their service department and they were unable to properly diagnose a problem. Took the RV to a different shop and they had it diagnosed & repaired in less than two hours. Talked with Guaranty about sending other parts forward to our new repair facility and they were rude and unpleasant. Will never do business there again.

:) closer and closer.....are they closing the Junction City store???? I wish they'd put one in Central Oregon!!!!!!

It closed at the beginning of the year. The new store is at an ideal location .... at least 3 different re-fueling stations, close to freeway and Monaco's repair faucility just down the road. + a huge truck parking area .... easy in easy out. Oh, and did I mention the town of Coburg has at least 8 an-tweek shops for those who like to browse.

The Junction City, Oregon Camping World store closed in late 2012 and the new one on I-5 was originally supposed to open in Spring of this year, now Spring 2014.

  • They just opened one in Cedar Falls Iowa. Two stores I always stop at are Cabelas and Camping World. Now I am parked 6 miles from one!
