Can batteries test "ok", but still be bad?
Let me begin by saying I have no knowledge/skills when it comes to all things mechanical, etc. This saga begins when I was parked for 5 mo season, and used a battery tender on the engine start batter...

I suggest you add solar charging or a low amperage 'smart charger' to the engine batteries
and do the periodic once a month maintenance check,
What U say is true and depends.(eg)On my 08 unit I have a 1.2amp bosch tender and it keep,s my two 31 series batterys charged WITHOUT using battery kill switch.
