- crassterExplorer IIHmm, depending on the motor brand itself and model number yes and no. Some need gear pullers some do not. Some just have a hex screw to keep the gear on, some have worm drive... Go after Newmar is the start and check with their service.
- MountainAir05Explorer IIAs stated, go to Newmar and follow the links. They show gears, for the slide assy. You have to pick out the one you need.
- Dennis12Explorernever gave it a thought in my last post but i had the same issue and i took my gear to a machinist and he welded the bad part solid and then re-cut the teeth. it was a lot cheaper than buying more than i needed.
- supercubExplorerI tried to a few years back with NO luck. Maybe you'll have better luck, would be nice if one could. Seems like a waste to buy the whole motor assembly just because one gear is broke. Good Luck
Brian - Dennis12ExplorerI went to the address below and got the parts that i needed one time and the next time they advised me of another company that helped me to find another part that they did not have. Hope this helps
http://www.newmarcorp.com/resources/parts-support/ - mowermechExplorerBased on experience, probably not.
The one I had trouble with was not a Klauber, though.
BUT, the factory said they did not have any parts for the model we had, so we had to buy a complete motor and gearbox. Luckily, an extended warranty covered most of the cost. - midnightsadieExplorer IImight call the klauber factory.have all the info off the case in hand.
- Teacher_s_PetExplorerIf you could find the out specifications, maybe McMaster-Carr?
