When I was negotiating the purchase of our MH last month, I had each dealer provide a Buyer's Order that set out the full price (including all taxes and fees) for the unit (by VIN), so that we would be comparing apples to apples. Once we settled on McClain's as our dealer, they honored that price. Because your chassis year may change, I suspect that you did not have a VIN indicated in whatever document your dealer provided, which suggests that you might not have had a binding contract.
