The DW & I boondock once a year at the Texas ROT rally for 4 days each time second weekend in June. Temps have been as high as 107 during the days and only down to low 80's at night. We make sure we arrive with tank full & bus cooled down before we leave the house. We are lucky that our gene only burns about 1/2 gal a hour, but we run that sucker 24 hours day. Like someone else said, close all the curtains & keep it dark as possible. We even add sun shades from my F350 to the front windows to reduce heat. Works great & keeps inside a nice 73 & depending on how many times we are in and out, the AC's will turn off for some time.
