Wow, OP, you have SIXTEEN HOUSE BATTERIES??????? Yeow, that's a serious bill if and when you have to replace them and, not only that but, that's also some SERIOUS WEIGHT too.
Holstein13, as you know, we have 3 lithium Ion 24 volt batteries for our house batteries with 4 starting maintenance free batteries for the chassis and 1 maintenance free battery for the generator. The Li batteries seem to act like our previous AGM's (8) in the Dynasty coach, meaning, that we have to run the genny a couple of hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the evening to keep everything charged up.
It has been said that we should expect at least 10 yrs. of use out of the Li batteries before a rebuild, which is cheaper than replacement. Currently, they are about $7,000 each, they used to be $10K each, so we should see a continued decline in pricing (thank you Tesla!).
As far as air conditioning, we have four 13,500 btu units vs. the four 15K units some other converter's use. Liberty designs their venting to be the MOST efficient with virtually no obstructions or bends in the flow. It is truly a 'cool' way of designing for max efficiency. Mostly, unless it's super hot, we can get by on 3 units.
