They sell a hitch entender that is shaped like and "h". It locks into the receiver on your M/H just like your ball does. It has 2 places to slide your ball bar into and lick into place with the big slide pin.
That "h" can be used to raise or lower the tow ball level. I put mine on to lower the ball, this raised the rear end of the dolly by about 6". That also lowered the rear of my car down to about a 5 1/2" clearance. Drove 3,000 miles without Toyota dragging the back bumper.
In your case, you can reverse the "h" and slide it in the receiver to raise the ball on your hitch. Raising the ball will lower the area your front tires are tied down to a couple of inches. Like a kids teeder todder works. That will raise the ass end of your car a couple more inches off the ground.
