Great comments, thanks...
Where I got the information about the trailer they also said;
"We traveled the USA for 11 months and never had to unhook the trailer at a campground. How’d we do it? We purchased the “Big Rigs Best Bets” book and it has been great. They go to each park and measure every space so we know how long it actually is."
I will have to buy a new car either way. I currently have a big SUV, not what I'd choose no matter which way I go. I'd buy a small car like a Chevy Spark or Sonic, either should fit the trailer reasonable well or work 4 down.
I will buy a DP that is 43 to 45' so it will also have a Tag axle, so I shouldn't have any trouble towing either way. I really like the idea of the trailer from a "vehicle protection and extra storage standpoint". But if I had to find a place for the trailer at every stop, that would suck the fun out of things quick!
