- ArchHoaglandExplorerMine fell off also in the middle of a trip. It was on the wife's side and I had to duct tape it up for the next 90 miles where it promptly fell down again as I pulled into our campsite.
I HATE plastic!!!
Bought a 2 1/2" or 3" pipe holder, can't remember which and used wood screws up into the ceiling which had wood at that spot. - DSDP_DonExplorer"wtmtnhiker"......I had those visors in my Monaco. They used a small screw to hold the visor up, when it should have had a screw with a large washer. If you look at the end of the visor, there are several small screws holding the end caps on. I took a piece of tin and made a tin bracket that attached to those existing screws and remounted them.
- wtmtnhikerExplorerThanks for the replies, I'm going to try some heavy duty mountable cable ties. I'm being told that spare parts are not available. Not sure whether that's true or not but I think heavy cable ties will work fine, the visor isn't heavy at all.
