- YajExplorerCarfax is more than useless, it's often just plain wrong. Google bad carfax reports for more information.
- crassterExplorer III have had pretty good luck with carfax honestly... However, NOTHING will beat a good eye to check things out. On an RV, there are so many things and complications... So many cubby holes and features. Consider that carfax may cost you $30 for a good report... On an RV, go ahead and spend $100 on a person who can really check it out well.
- krivanjExplorerI tried to use Carfax on RVs I was interested in. The company told me they had very few listings for RVs, and to find they had the one I needed would be just lucky. They do cars, not RVs.
They gave me a refund. - Home_SkilletExplorer IICarFax is for entertainment only. They are borderline fraudulant!
- wny_pat1ExplorerI've used Carfax on RVs with no problems.
- jhilleyExplorerI've also used Carfax on RVs with good results.
- GlennLeverExplorerI used Carfax on my recent purchase and it did provide some interesting information. I have looked at before listing some of my own vehicles and found incorrect information on those vehicles (which I owned since new). In terms of the investment it is a small cost, just take it with a grain of salt.
- ScottGNomadUsed on MH's? They're hardly used on cars.
I'd skip it. - JohnInAzExplorerI used it for my current mh. What I found valuable was the owner history. If I see the mh go through a lot of owners is a red flag to me.
- raymondmomExplorerI used carfax to determine if motorhomes had been sitting for years and which had repeatedly failed emissions or were originally from out of state.
