Anybody use a cargo carrier for their Pleasure Way Class B? Is so what's the best one? I want to be able to access my rear door without having to dissemble the whole thing. Thanks Jack
Yes.I agree. The GearSPace 34 has all the lights needed:licence plate, stop, running lights and turnsignals. The 68 inches across size leave 5 inches on each end of my Pleasureway Plateau TS Sprinter(width:78 ins), thus allowing rear viewing of the Sprinters lights, backed up with the led lights on the Gearspace 34. It will look big on the back end of the SPrinter but heh, I am the driver not the follower. I will weigh the contents to ensure it is not overloaded. I never trust backup camera as wife guides me back. I seldom need to back up at night so not an issue.Unit will not obscure most of the view out the back windows of the Sprinter, which is a good feature when watching for tailgaters. 2. Only inconvenience is that when we dont use the Gearspace unit(when it is parked), we have to take the licence plate off and put it back on the motorhome.Unless somebody has a better idea..?? I will report my impressions as requested after it arrives and is mounted. Greetings AL
I don't think it will block the light straight back but may cast a quite a shadow in the middle of the area where the van is backing up. My wife is used to yelling at me while maneuvering the Bounder so it should not be that big of a deal to do so for the van.Sure is huge but the bigger the better. The guy in the demo looks tiny by comparison.I think the landing gear would be a must have for me.Please don't forget to tell us all about it when you get it.
After sizing the Stowaway MAX 16 cu ft and Gearspace 17 cu ft I ordered the Rola Gearspace 34 with 4 wheels and extendable legs to allow backing the unit off the hitch without lifting the unit onto the ground, empty or full--pretty heavy. I needed room for several foldup chairs, a Coleman gazebo,a Lexus Lite foldup 52lb scooter I used when leg injured but now great for RV parks transpo(beats the bikes and rental golf cars and is ok in Walmarts and on sidwalks). THe 34 is costly at 1362$ plus lots of extras, shipping to Canada and taxes but what an alternative to pulling a trailer or having a MH too big for cruising in the 'hood. We have Pleasureway Plateau TS which hasnt much storage room. With this unit we can park it and go shopping with having to carry the 34 everywhere.A good feature. AL
The LetsGoAero Gearspace 34 cargo carrier is designed so you can carry two bikes inside as well as storage items. I saw an extended model Winnebago ERA Sprinter carrying one on the Alaska Highway this past summer.
Can you still carry bikes with the box on the back. We just purchased a PW Pleateau. Have lots of questions. Has anyone come up with a screen for the big door?
I am considering purchasing a Stowaway MAX with swingaway arm and 16 cu ft space for my 2006(2007 conversion) Pleasureway Plateau TS without a rear sparetire carrier. They ship to Canada too. They suggest just the base package as the LED taillight option is not recommended for my unit. Is this the best buy for me or can someone suggest a better unit. It comes in white too which suits our MH.Not cheap but looks to be sturdy with polymer composition. Thanks
