Unless they have been changed since I had mine it requires two coax connections to the receiver and a 12 V power source. A small table to set it on would be useful. The cables and power cord should be at least 50 feet long. Plan on losing a full bay for storage.
I finally ditched mine in favor or a winequard traveler. In retrospect I should have just spent the $$$ once. Besides buying the Carryout I also had to have an additional coax run from the water bay to the receiver and a 12V outlet installed plus some splitters to select between park cable and sat input. By the time I was done it was easily over half the cost of doing it right the first time.
Now I have push button setup, full HD, full recording capability for up to 3 channels at a time, etc, etc.
