Cat C-7 diesel oil viscosity

And Spizzer, be careful on your first oil change for your C-7. 19 quarts will put mine up to the full mark and no spew over the rear of the coach. I think some places were showing 22 quarts for the C-7 but was found to be too much.

Thanks for the heads up. I did verify my oil pan is the 18-19 quart on, not the larger one. What filter do you use?

Hi Jeff - sorry for the delay, we've been out of town for Thanksgiving. I have always used a Cat filter, which originally was IR0739 but was changed to High Efficiency IR1807. I always try to use Cat and Allison filters whenever possible.
