The 1100 gallons burned spec I quoted came from page 105 of the Cat Engine operation and maintainance manual that came in the information folder with all the other equipment manuals that were provided with my coach when it was sold. The manual does NOT specify what application the engine is being used in. The engines were changed in 2007 so they may have changed the interval then. Knowing what it costs to have one injector replaced I am going to continue to be very conservative with my change intervals. I can buy a LOT of CAT brand 10-30 oil for what that one injector cost (-:
