CB Radios
I am new to RV ing Do most folks use CB Radios will on the Road??

I have one under my truck seat set for Ch19 and the squelch turned all the way up. This makes it a close proximity radio and all I want to do is monitor the truckers near me... They have all the road hazard info handy...
I have never heard another RV'er since 2008 when I installed mine...
When the wife have a need to keep in contact like at malls etc we wither use the CELL PHONES or a couple of the FRS RADIOS I have... Some places like I have heard at Gatlingburg have FRS RADIO REPEATERS going...
The FRS radios don't have much range on their own. definitely not the 20 mile range that alof of the sellers claim they do... In populated areas like Gatlinburg the FRS radios are really crowded...
