Yeah, sounds like you might be SOL until you can get your Idaho permit. Maybe if you can fly up and knock out the qual course/test and then wait for the processing, that might work.
Wouldn't it be nice if there was one law that should apply to all, in all states... oh wait, there is, but that's a separate discussion.
